The deli and cafe, modelled on New York delis, has an extensive all-day breakfast, lunch and dessert menu.
It has a large selection of house-made hot breads, desserts, marmalades, pickles, and you can create your own salads, sandwich and pasta menus.
Soups: Soup choices include duck curry, roast pumpkin, broccoli and bocconcini, potato and leek, asparagus, pea and ham, chicken and vegetable, lamb and lima bean, and fish chowder served with focaccia, dine in $11.90 and takeaway $7.90; Chicken and motza balls (Jewish dumplings) with focaccia, $14.50.
Breakfast: Smoke salmon, avocado, bocconcini, tomato, spanish onion, capers and sour cream on focaccia, $16.90; Moroccan breakfast of spiced mince, baked eggs, chorizo, tomato, chermoula and Moroccan bread served in a tagine, $19.90.
Starters: King prawns in shredded pastry on a Greek salad, $18.90; a tapas plate with three dips, olives, marinated feta, semi-dried tomatoes, tabouli and focaccia, $16.90.
Lunch: Prime beef burger, bacon, onion and salad with chips, $15.50; salt and pepper squid on exotic salad with Thai drizzle, $16.90.
Dessert: Baby carrot cake, walnuts and cream cheese icing, fig and frangipani tartlet, Greek syrup cake with warm zesty citrus sauce, double chocolate mousse, $5.90; Goose’s Special Blinis (European pancakes) with hot chocolate or caramel fudge, wild berries and European yoghurt, lemon curd, candied cumquats and cream, banana, butter and Canadian maple syrup, $14.90.
